Almost 2,000 women-owned businesses are opening every day, and the number of minority and women-owned businesses have skyrocketed. This is the good news. The bad news is that one-third of all these businesses will shut down within 2 years, and almost 50% of businesses will close within 5-years. The primary reason that businesses fail is lack of funding.
Many small and new business assume that they don't quality for grants and contracts. This is NOT true. I successfully applied for and received $349,000 in grants my first year of business and this helped me to leave corporate America and work in my business full time. By my second year in business, I developed successful applications which resulted in two 5-year grants and contracts totalling $1.3 million dollars.
Over the past 12 years in business I have received over $6 million dollars in federal, state and local grants and contracts, which has been key in remaining a financially viable business.
In this 3-hour course, you will learn the steps involved in finding funding opportunities, and getting prepared to develop a successful proposal. I will teach you the lessons I have learned which has kept me full-time in my business since 2010.
Businesses don't necessarily get funding because they have the most experience - they get funded because they have the formula. In this course you will learn the Federal Grants Formula for Success including strategies to identify which opportunities to apply for, and the steps to take to increase your likelihood of receiving funding.
